Ethel Lobell Murphy

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ethel Lobell Murphy will be held at 11:00am Thursday, September 27, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, French Settlement, LA conducted by Rev. Jason Palermo, Deacon James Little and Deacon Leon R. Murphy. Visitation will begin at 9:00am until time of service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Church Funeral Services.  Mrs. Murphy was born in French Settlement and passed from this life on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Carpenter House at the age of 88 years old.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley “Uncle Blue” Murphy and son, Dale Andrew Murphy, parents Wilson Lobell and Essie Lobell, brothers Henry Lobell and Harry Lobell.  Survived by sisters Thelma Chargois and Eunice Lobell Sevario and a host of nieces and nephews.
