He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacqueline Ann Hidalgo and Eugene J. Powers, Jr.; stepson Joel Stafford and infant granddaughter, Chassity Stafford. Survivors include his daughter Jacqueline (Jackie) Brianne Powers, a brother Keith and wife Kellie; sisters Lorrie Powers and Vickie Powers; a grandson Brendon Stafford, stepmother Janice Powers, stepsisters Lisa and Pat Jordan, Roxie and Don Juneau, Pam and Barry Cucullu, Stacey and A.J.
