Joyce Lee Bearden

A ceremony celebrating the life of Joyce Lee Bearden will be held at 11 am on Wednesday at The Church in St Amant; visitation will begin at 9 am. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery. Mrs. Bearden was born in Ascension Parish on August 9, 1937 and departed from this life on Tuesday July 17, 2018 at Riverside Medical Center Franklinton. Survivors include her children Janet Sapia (Ace), Jimmy Hotard Jr., Paula Sapia (Kenneth Jr), Arnold Hotard (Vickie), Sharon Rome (Dale), Mary Gulsby (Darryl), Steven Hotard, David Hotard (Tammy), Michelle Sapia (Morris) and Nancy Falcon; also survived by a host of siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband R. B. Bearden, son Frankie Naquin, Grandchildren Brandon Joseph Rome and Nicole Ann Hotard; daughter-in-law Charlene Hotard.
