Services for Barbara Jean Ellison 80, of Baton Rouge, La. Will be 11:00am Thursday June 28, 2018 at Zoar Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA. With Rev. Peter Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 9am till services time at the church. She was born on June 27, 1937 in Birmingham, Alabama and passed from this life to her heavenly home where her husband was waiting for her, Saturday June 23, 2018 in Zachary, LA. She lived most of her life in Central, La. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church. She retired from the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Courts office and worked part time at Zoar Baptist Church in the PDQ area. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert “Bob” Ellison. Survivors include her daughter Cindy Jarvis, and her husband Val Jarvis of Baker, LA. and the loves of her life, her grandchildren Wade and Molly Jarvis. Pallbearers will be Val Jarvis, Wade Jarvis, Ted Oktabetz, John Duplessis, Steve Jackson and Shane Dedon.
