Murphy Gregoire Jr.

Murphy J. Gregoire Jr., age 68, passed away on Thursday May 24, 2018. A resident of St. Amant, La., he was born in Gonzles, La. on April 20, 1950 to Murphy and Helen (Parker) Gregoire. On November 20, 1970, he married Janice M. Rhyner. Together they had three children. “Lil” Murphy loved to barbeque his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jan; son Murphy J. Gregoire III; daughters Christi Holvey (Jon), Courtney Foster (Blane); grandchildren, Christopher, Jacob, Alexa, Brooke; his mother, Helen (Parker) Gregoire; brother, Benny A. Gregoire (Cassie); nephews, Benny Gregoire Jr. (Amber), Donovan Gregoire (Kristin); great nieces and nephew. Preceded in death by; his father, Murphy J. Gregoire; paternal grandparents, Dan and Mazie (Brown) Wallace; maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Ada (Cannon) Parker. Visitation will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Amant, La. on Friday June 1, 2018, from 9:00 until mass of Christian burial at 11:00. Interment will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
