A funeral service celebrating the life of Lurlean Pierre Lavene will be held at 11am Tuesday April 24,2018 at Victory Baptist Church, 43385 North Little Italy Road, Hammond, LA 70403, visitation will begin Monday afternoon April 23, 2018 from 3pm-5pm and will resume Tuesday morning at 10am until time of service.She is preceded in death by her parents Lucius Joshua Pierre and Rose Mary Mapes Pierre; brothers Hubert Pierre, Lucius Joshua, Jr; sisters Viola Pierre, Ione Leger and son Warren Alexandra Roshto.Survivors include sisters Idea Brecheen, Fleta Netterville, Lola Sanders; brother Tracy Pierre; children Slyvia Ann Roshto, Kenneth Ray Roshto, Cynthia Louise Roshto, Katherine Rose Roshto, Joseph Wayne Roshto, Jodie Lynn Roshto, and Daniel Lee Roshto; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
