Una Vidrine Tullos

Born on February 26, 1924 in rural St. Landry Parish, she passed away at Baton Rouge General Hospital on February 7, 2018 after a brief illness. She was a resident of New Roads. She is survived by two sons, David Tullos and his wife Megan of Thibodaux and Craig Tullos and his wife Diana of Port Allen. She leaves behind five grandchildren; Chaney Tullos, New Orleans, Seth Tullos, Houston, Texas, Alexandra Tullos Malbrough and her husband Dustin, Houma, Travis Tullos and his wife Tori, Spring, Texas and Abby Tullos Yeates and her husband Keaton, McKinney, Texas. She had four great grandchildren, Addysen and Madeline Yeates, Cullen Tullos and Knox Malbrough. She is also survived by three brothers; Paul Vidrine (Lynne), Covington, John Vidrine (Lena), Ville Platte, and Ray Vidrine, Thibodaux, sister-in-law Rever Vidrine, Galvez and many nieces and nephews. Una also had an extended family that played a large role in her life; Melodie Fairchild, Jackie Knight, Cheri Major, Cliff Ortis, Connie Janis and their respective spouses. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Tullos; Parents, Henry and Edna Vidrine; Sister, Annie Vidrine Sylvester, brothers Nathan and Curtis Vidrine, and sister-in-laws Theresa, Lillian and Evelyn Vidrine. Special thanks to the staff of The Baton Rouge General and Pointe Coupee Healthcare for their love and care. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at First Baptist Church of New Roads from 9:30 am to 11:30 am followed by the funeral service and Christian burial at False River Memorial Park.
