Carl Laspe

A ceremony celebrating the life of Rick Laspe will be 1:00pm on Friday at Istrouma Baptist Church: visitation will be Thursday 5:00pm until 7:00pm and will resume on Friday at 11:00am until time of the service. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Revival Temple Cemetery Walker. Mr. Laspe was born on April 17, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to the union of the late Robert and Lucile Hamilton Laspe and departed from this life on Sunday November 5, 2017 at The Carpenter House of St Joseph Hospice, at the age of 64 years. He was a resident of Baton Rouge, attended Istrouma Baptist Church, and served with the U S Navy. He enjoyed golfing and watching classic television shows. He is survived by his wife Lisha Ezell Laspe; daughters, Beth Runnels (Jonathan), and Stephanie Johnston (Jay); step son, Jonathan Shaw; siblings Bob Laspe (Connie), and Linda Johnson; also survived by grandchildren, Cami, Megan, Mallory, Addyson, Jarrett and Olivia. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Hansen and Dr. Dampf for the care they provided.
