David Louis Aime

A native and resident of Head of Island, he passed away at his home on Friday, October 20, 2017, at the age of 72. He retired from CGB Marine, and was a veteran of the United States Army. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Head of Island, 19114 Highway 22, Head of Island, LA 70733, from 9:30am until funeral service at 11:30am on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Burial will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 18703 Old Ferry Rd, Head of Island, LA 70733. He is survived by his wife Judy Aime; daughters, Veronica Aime, and Lee Nevels & husband Michael; son, Andy Aime; five stepchildren, Calvin Cortez and wife Christine, LaRoyce Jorden & husband Dale, Tracy Cortez, Tara Villenurve & husband David, and Judy Berthelot & husband Cory; brother James Aime and Darlene; 19 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and ex-wife and good friend, Charlene Aime. He is preceded in death by his mother, Rose Aime; father, Paul Aime, Jr.; brothers, Melvin Aime and Marion Aime; and sisters, Ruth Millet, Helen Milazzo, and Dorothy Aydell.
