Cyndi Latiolais Person

Cyndi Latiolais Person, age 65, passed away on October 10, 2017 at her home in St. Amant, LA. Cyndi is survived by her loving husband, Michael Ewen Person, of St. Amant; son, Sage Newcomb-Rusk and his husband, Estine, of Anchorage, AK; stepson, Bryson Person and his wife, Muriel, of Dallas, TX; stepson, William Major Person and his wife, Natalie, of Lafayette, LA; four grandchildren, Cecelia, Emmeline, Gunnar, and Beau Person; brother, George Latiolais (Kricket) of Thomaston, GA; sister, Patricia “Pat” Latiolais (Becky) of Rayne, LA; sister, Pam Latiolais Pete (Gil) of Lafayette, LA; brother, Vincent “Vince” Latiolais of Lafayette, LA; sister, Dawn Latiolais Hebert (Chad) of Maurice, LA, and a host of loving nieces and nephews she cherished and treated as her own children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond G. Latiolais, Sr. and Sue Olivier Latiolais of Lafayette, LA; grandfather, Charles Olivier; uncle, Earl Latiolais of Kaplan, LA; aunt, Agnes Hebert of Kaplan, LA; and close friend, Lena Moe of Moe, LA. Cyndi was born in Lake Charles, LA on January 6, 1952 to parents Raymond and Sue Latiolais. She was a member of the first graduating class of Acadiana High in 1970. Her family and friends will always remember her for being the kindest wife, mother, sister, and friend a person or pet could ever ask for. Always putting others before herself, her love for family, friends, animals, and the outdoors was unwavering. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 14 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Lafayette, LA. Memorial donations may be made to the Baton Rouge affiliate of the Susan G.
